Full job description

About the role

We are hiring two full-time Retail Sales Assistants for our Wellington vape stores in the CBD, Karori and Miramar. These are permanent positions. Base pay plus commission.

You will help customers, process sales accurately and keep the store clean, organised and well stocked. You will follow store procedures for age-restricted products and raise issues with the Store Manager.

Your duties

  • Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Process POS and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
  • Check ID and follow the rules for age-restricted sales.
  • Provide factual product information within your training and store procedures.
  • Restock shelves, maintain displays and complete stock checks.
  • Keep the store clean and organised.
  • Raise customer, stock and safety issues with the Store Manager.

What we are looking for

  • Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently.
  • Clear communication and attention to detail.
  • Able to work some weekends and public holidays.
  • Retail or customer-service experience is helpful but not essential.
