About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Recruitment Administrator to join our team, this could be a secondment opportunity also to support our Recruitment Advisors who manage the recruitment of all non-clinical, Allied Health Scientific & Technical, and Nursing & Midwifery vacancies.

You will be working alongside an awesome and supportive team who will mentor and guide you through the world of internal health recruitment. Some of your duties will include:

• Scheduling interviews with candidates
• Managing our shared recruitment inbox and responding to general enquiries
• Posting job adverts
• Initiating reference checks through our online system

This is a busy and varied role which will expose you to the wonderful world of recruitment in a healthcare environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start step into recruitment and grow in their career to become a Recruitment Advisor.

Your salary will be pro-rated to the hours worked based on the full-time equivalent salary of $78,088 gross per annum. This is Band 4 Step 4 of National Administration and Clerical Pay scale in the Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand and PSA National Health Administration Workers Collective Agreement (1 January 2025 - 30 June 2027).

About you

While previous recruitment experience is beneficial, we are ultimately looking for an experience administrator who is a quick learner and knows how to use their initiative. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a complex environment where things can change quickly. Agility is a bonus, and having a great sense of humour is essential - you will generally hear our team before you see them!
