A1 driving school was a friendly work place for all of it's employees. Management was always respectful and willing to encourage positive advancements. The best thing about working for this company was the balanced work environment.

Great job!

Company seems okay but with no benefits for this type of work is a drawback. The company provides the car for you to do the driving lessons. Check it out!

Pros

Flexible work schedule

Cons

No benefits

Good working environment

Great job. They really work around your schedule and work with you if things come up. The pay is good. This is a great part time job or a job for a retiree. It is a very laid back time atmosphere.

Excellent and supportive workplace

• Provide professional and excellent customer service to clients. • Have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate well to many types of drivers of different personalities to better suit the student. • Record or update new info about company vehicles and driver information. • Teach the many functions of the vehicle, laws of the road, proper guidelines for safe driving and accident avoidance techniques.

Pros

Professional work structure, supportive environment, fun and challenging

Cons

Occasional short lunch breaks

Great pay, flexible schedule

I absolutely enjoyed working here but driving in Atlanta is not for the faint at heart. Teaching Joshua's Law was a piece of cake in the classroom. The challenge came in providing students lessons behind the wheel. Most of my students received instruction well and were comfortable and willing to learn. But Atlanta traffic can be quite intimidating and intolerant of new drivers. Driving in rural, quiet neighborhoods is most beneficial for building the confidence of new drivers but once you delve into urban/ metropolitan Atlanta, you must be ready!!!

Pros

I enjoyed the students, especially in the classroom. My schedule was flexible.

Cons

Teaching students to drive in crazy Atlanta traffic...I don't know if it will ever get better!!!

Interesting and learning

You can meet different types of people personally. Providing their needs. Making schedules of their driving lessons. Answering phone calls of inquiries (Telephone etiquette).
