Need to get with the current times, too old school
Project Leader Office Products (Current Employee) - Sidney, NY - 24 May 2022
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by Indeedneed more flexibility to allow people to work from home. Make hours work better with personal life. they say work life balance, then treat you like a criminal if you take time off or want to work from home, or change your hours from one day to the next to help with appointments etc.

Don’t get comfortable
D2C Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Booneville, MS - 9 June 2022
This company will suck you in with fantastic benefits, lots of holiday, vacation time, etc. do not be fooled! No job is secure and no employee is safe in their role! They have their favorites and it shows! Once you’re no longer wanted, they will make sure you’re uncomfortable enough to leave.
Pros
Vacation, benefits
Cons
Literally everything else

Good company that has the potential to be great but holding itself back
Legal (Current Employee) - Lake Zurich, IL - 25 April 2022
ACCO is a company of many companies, they started as a paper clip company and over time have expanded into many different consumer products. ACCO has the potential to be great, but they are holding themselves back on innovation. Unfortunately they are always one step behind everyone else. It's really hard to advance at this company because they operate SO lean, I mean LEAN.... There is just no room for growth. If you are happy staying in your same position for your career you will be fine. There is an uneasy feeling with everyone due to the amount of layoffs that are constantly happening. A lot of the high level leadership has been at the company for decades and does not have the experience from other companies. Overall a good company, but really need to get with digital innovation as paper and pens are going away.
Pros
Pay is good, vacation time starts with 3 weeks, 401K match
Cons
Leadership that has been at the company so long not interested in change, lack of innovation into digital items

Bad management
General Labourer (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 26 December 2021
They used to call from agency for seasonal work and used to pay $17.80 than they start doing contract with the same pay and start deducting union money but never let participate any union activity while more then 50% staff was contract union was getting good amount of money from contract employees but when there was time to support they negotiated with company to reduce contract employees salary to $15

Jobs are easy, environment sucks
Different jobs (Former Employee) - Alexandria, PA - 8 July 2021
There weren’t any real hard jobs at the factory. You have some awesome coworkers and some horrible ones. Everything is based off seniority and depending on what department you worked in, it was impossible to get the vacation days you wanted off. Most supervisors are easy going but you always have those few who are just total power tripping jerks. Management seems to have a lot of issues with drama and pettiness.
Pros
The pay is okay
Cons
Not much time for a life

Lots of overtime
Picker (Former Employee) - Booneville, MS - 3 July 2021
You are just a body. They only care about their fat check at end of quarter. Your body will be tan down and you will be super exhausted. Some supervisors care about you. All in all I don’t recommend.
Pros
Benefits
Cons
Every weekend-sat&sunday, pay

It doesn't feel like a company that will be here in the future
Machine Operator (Former Employee) - Sidney, NY - 21 June 2021
Jobs pay well, but money isn't everything. There is no sense that this company cares to invest in its people or the facility. It might be ok for a temporary job. Don't consider a career here.
Pros
jobs pay well
Cons
employees aren't appreciated
