No for a family person. Expect to work holidays, 12 hours shift, no weekend off. And and make sure no to make apoiment or plan after work because you don't going to make on time.

Very complicated
Cashier (Former Employee) - Montclair, NJ - 30 November 2022
Very complicated management situation, my time there was filled with anguish and I couldn’t tell if it was from the idea of not being paid enough or the fact my boss had something against my scheduling so I wouldn’t be scheduled

Good work environment, not so good compensation structure.
gm (Current Employee) - Shelby Township, MI - 19 November 2022
Employer provides a decent work environment but corporate seems to be a little too enthralled with the current "woke" liberal bs. The pay structure is tenure-based, as opposed to merit-based. Thus the productive/hard-working employees' compensation is little more than, or equal to, what the slackers/do-nothings receive. Furthermore, the productive have to pick up the slack left by the non-productive.

Acme Fresh Market cashier (Former Employee) - Whipple Avenue canton Ohio - 18 October 2022
Not a good place if you’re looking for full-time.. The pay is OK.. I never let you get a project done that they tell you to get done.. uniforms are cool… That make promises they cannot keep
Pros
I enjoyed getting to know my customers
Cons
Very poor management and they do not train very well

Acme Health Services
HR Director (Former Employee) - 6302 N Rucker Road - 30 September 2022
Work overload on top of disrespectful owner and management and poor pay. One of the poorest rated places I have worked. Very unprofessional and almost toxic work environment.

Worst place I’ve ever worked at
Cashier (Former Employee) - North Cape May, NJ - 22 September 2022
Managers are horrible pay especially in a summer town is awful you go up to like $17-&18 an hour in the summer then down to minimum wage in the winter. Getting time off is nearly impossible

Lowest paying job
Clerk (Current Employee) - Cottman - 23 June 2022
This is one of the lowest paying jobs out there. They expect the workers to do the work of 3 people for just $12 an hour. Most new hires do not last a month. I have seen some walk off the job the same day they are hired. It is impossible to get a set schedule and they will schedule people 5 days a week but only 20 hours. All 4 hour shifts. McDonald's pays more.

all around bad starting job
Cashier (Current Employee) - 400 simpsons drive - 18 June 2022
one solid manager with the rest being annoying and bossy, told to work holidays but no holiday pay, plus extra 20 out of paycheck each check from union, managers don't listen and aren't helpful with scheduling at all, below average pay with little to no benefits
Pros
15 min breaks, good front end manager, easy to call out
Cons
bad managment, bad pay, poor scheduling

Quality Work
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - remote - 17 June 2022
Caring atmosphere, helpful. Some folks stand out for being good. Some stand out for being average. Some just stand around. The best breeds the best, and some of the best stay to take on promotions and other roles.

This is a great work environment if you want a work life balance
Senior Product Manager (Current Employee) - Columbus, OH - 22 February 2022
This is a very supportive environment. They took the time to train me and show me the ropes to ensure success. There is no overtime so I have a great worklife balance. My manager gives me lots of constructive criticism. I am constantly challenged with new and interesting projects.

- Low pay long term - Only start out as part-time, only managers work full-time - Flexible for part-time
Cashier (Former Employee) - Mon - 24 January 2022
The job is not exhausting, however, do not expect a significant wage increase, not a good long-term job because the pay increase is 25c max per year, therefore you will have to work a long time (20yrs) in the company to actually make $4-5 above minimum wage.
