Pay is the worst
Commercial Driver (Former Employee) - Houston, TX - 4 November 2019
they run you all local and it is a lot of favoritism within the employees that has been there years. You run all over Houston all day to make $30.00 . Not worth the fuel

Assistant Deli Manager (Former Employee) - Glen Mills, PA - 1 November 2019
They did not abide by their disciplinary guidelines, therefore, letting multiple no shows and call outs deemed acceptable somehow. Management was very unprofessional. I left the job i love because my leader turned into a dictator.

Devon Acme is in dire need of available employees.
Cashier/Customer Service Associate (Current Employee) - Wayne, PA - 23 October 2019
Acme is conveniently located and gets very busy. The products can be overpriced and the store organization could be improved. However, the store is relatively clean, has some good sales, friendly employees and good customer service. In regards to compensation, depending on how professional and valuable one presents themselves, one might be negotiate higher than the minimum wage.

Acme Was Awesome
Bagger/Customer Service (Former Employee) - Wilmington, DE - 19 October 2019
Acme had great hours and employers. On a typical day if the store was slow I would stock and do shop put back. The hardest part of the job was learning how to move fast and keep the store running at a steady pace for every customer to be in and out.

Matince at Acme, collecting carts (Former Employee) - Ventnor City, NJ - 23 September 2019
A typical day at work would be waiting at the time clock, waiting to punch in for work. What I liked about working at Acme were the people that I worked for. My acosheates! Managment was ok. Hardest part of my job was, pushing carts in the snow, rain, sleet, gusty winds, hail.
Pros
Others employee's
Cons
Pushing carts in the rain

Good career
Hot Shot Driver (Former Employee) - Angleton tx - 19 September 2019
Great career where you can do your own business, out on the open road, at the time for me fuel cost had soared very high, if it wasn't for that reason I'd still be there right now, wait company I recommended this

Productive, great place to work at
Porter (Former Employee) - Manhattan, NY - 18 September 2019
I learned the means of being a porter. Acme was a great place to work at and I was satisfied with my duties. The managers and employees were kind and respectable. Though I was a night porter, I still felt as if I were part of the team, until I received an unexpected layoff from the job.I do hope they will be able to rehire me again so I can continue my complimentary tasks at such a exquisite restaurant.
Pros
Free Dinner meals

Acme didn't care about their employees. They just wanted the work done
Customer Service Manager (Former Employee) - Shrewsbury, NJ - 13 September 2019
I enjoyed doing the job I did. I did not appreciate we had no support from the management when it came to employees who gave you a hard time and didn't work. I complained all the time, it didn't matter. They hired people who didn't want to work just to fill a spot.
Loved most of my coworkers
Pros
none
Cons
no breaks

No room to improve
Customer Service, Department Lead (Current Employee) - Clark, NJ - 10 September 2019
Been with company for 9 years, unfortunately not much room to grow. The best way to move up in this company is to know someone who has already risen to the top

Productive and fun
It’s a fun job and it’s very flexible. I’ve learned a lot from this job. Great for a first job or good for working if you’re in school. They have great management.
