They have a high turn over rate as it is not pleasant to work in this department, career progression outside of Credit solutions frowned upon by management. The work itself is okay but systems are slow and targets are forever increasing to prevent pay rises and bonus.
Friendly team mates, ASB bank benefits
Bad management, High turnover and No Career progression
No growth, horrible managers and yeah politics at the lowest level. Forget promotion, coz it's never about work here but what "others" think about you. Infested with consultants so it's obvious, you have no goals, learning, expectations and recognition but just to get the work done via them.
Fast past and target driven. Making sure realistic targets are being set and staff achieve targets. Managing day to day processing. Supporting the team, coaching and training.
ASB has an Excellent culture and atmosphere, Great people and collaborative work, Challenging work but rewarding. ASB allow personal and professional growth as well as flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely

Enjoyed working with other wider Teams, always busy and productive with a lot of activities and opportunities on the go. However the Wealth division is very political and toxic. Best not to question processes or when something is not right as it will come back to haunt you. Feedback has little meaning once the top makes the decision. Top-down communication lacking. Toxic people who has been around for a long time, spread rumour and gossips like wild fire. Team manager is not a people person and is concerned about figures only. Has no interest in you as a person especially evident on the day you resign. Don't be surprised a verbal threat is what you hear as you are walked out the door when you join a competitor.
Strong culture in self development, career progression. Provides a wide range of internal workshops that you can go to, it's up to you as to how far you want to progress and what success and achievement means to you. A digitally focused company looking towards the future and the bigger picture. Company values it's staff by way of small gestures (Easter and Christmas gifts). Diverse and culturally active in the community and workplace. I enjoyed my time here (7 years).
Great friendships made

ASB has played a massive role in my personal and professional development in the past years. ASB Bank is a leading banking in term of training and team environment to help with professional growth.
team work, work life balance
A typical day for me would involve coaching people leaders to ensure that they are role-modelling ASB's preferred leadership behaviours. Often this would be in the context of a sales or service team. The hardest part about the job is that this was often viewed as a 'nice to have' due to leaders and teams being under pressure meet targets, put out fires, etc. There are parts of the bank that makes it feel like a family and there are parts of the bank where people are more interested in satisfying their own ego.
ASB is a company that stands by its people and values. I have truly enjoyed working here with the people I engage with, and the leadership's direction to ensure the work we do is fully aligned with the values we signed up for. The culture can vary from team to team, however very accepting of every individual, from flexible working to career advancement.
Great people oriented culture
ASB is a great workplace with supportive management. Great people to work with and work for. Great training throughout career and heaps of advancement available in all areas of the bank
Always rewards great work
Sometimes can be demanding
