  • Meet #autuni student and Infantry Platoon Commander Lieutenant, Te Huia Paniora-Hepi. 
While studying a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Social Science and Maori Development he works as an Army Reserve. Like any other student with a part time job, he uses his spare time to attend military training so he's ready to contribute to civil defence emergencies - both nationally and internationally "It's a challenge, but it's rewarding to see what you are capable of. There's so much job satisfaction." As part of the management team, Te Huia is responsible for assisting with soldiers' careers, planning of training, operations management and implementation of efficiency strategies.
