We care about our employees and their families. We strive to offer them benefits programs that take care of their health and financial needs. As a global company with employees in 27 countries, our programs vary by country to reflect local practices and cultures; but our philosophy to provide our employees with competitive and comprehensive benefits is consistent across the world. Ensuring we provide meaningful benefit programs and resources is an integral part of how we reward employees.
Eligible employees can select from a variety of medical, pharmacy, dental, and visions plans. In-network preventative care is fully covered and we offer flexible savings accounts including healthcare, dependent care, and commuter FSAs to make sure pre-tax dollars go further.
While we cover the majority of the cost sharing, to ensure that all have affordable healthcare, we have 5 contribution tiers based on income. Those that earn more pay more for healthcare, and those that earn less pay less.
All employees at all levels are eligible to participate in the 401k savings plan, with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to six percent of salary.
We offer voluntary benefit programs including Legal Assistance, Identify Theft Protection, and Accident Insurance. These voluntary benefit programs are available to all employees at discounted group rates.
Employees have access discounts on car rentals, car purchases and shopping memberships.

Rental Sales, Customer Service, & Operations Managers
These employees offer face-to-face support to tens of thousands of customers every day. It’s from our Rental Stores that our excellent reputation has grown. And, joining one of these teams will put you on track for a rewarding career.
Rental Sales Associates are responsible for sending our customers on their journey with a vehicle and ancillary options that best suit them. There is great commission potential in this role!
Customer Service Representatives can wear many hats but ensure the smooth flow of our customers--whether it be to the counter, to pick up their vehicle, to return their vehicle (being sure to remind them to take all their belongings!) or out of our rental locaiton.

Drivers & Car Cleaners
Drivers move our fleet of new vehicles so they're in the right place at the right time to keep rentals running smoothly. Many chose coming to Avis Budget Group as a safer alternative to ride sharing gigs so they can get the perks and advancement opportunities of working for a Fortune 500 company.
Another role critical to our smooth operation is that of our Shuttle Bus Drivers. These employees take rental customers to and from the airport and are the face of our company right before and after our global travelers take their trips.
Finally, our Car Cleaners are ensure our vehicles are rent-ready and directly impact customer satisfaction.
Our mechanics keep our new fleet of vehicles across all makes and models in good shape so our customers drive away safe and happy. Depending on technical expertise, they perform preventative maintenance with minimal technical supervision, or handle complex repairs of engines, transmissions, exhaust, braking, hydraulic, electrical, fuel ignition, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
