My role in this job entailed making sure prices and information were correct with the appropriate discounts, preparing invoices and contracts whilst checking the customers account for credit and outstanding payments, keeping the customers up to date with shipping date and any delays once allocated to the correct department.
All of this advanced my skills of excel as I had to keep an updated spread sheet of all the information in order for feedback.
My manager was very hands on, got involved and was there to help when needed.
Being thrown in at the deep end and having to learn all the tools and where to send the correct orders to.
The work environment was always very positive and I enjoyed the challenge of having to learn something new.
