A typical day at work includes an early morning tool box and briefing, followed by clearing the 'noise' from the previous day and working out the most pressing issues for the day ahead. As I'm one of the seniors I spend a lot of time supporting the junior engineering members and either supporting or refining proposals and plans.
Due to medical issues which ending up being 5 long weeks in hospital, I had to give up what was a very interesting and rewarding job. Management very understanding. Diverse culture learnt alot. Worked with a great team
Working on TG (transmission gully)has a different challenge each day whether it be working with sub-contractors or self perform crews or the topography of the land or the wellington weather and protecting the environment as we construct drainage systems to channel water to waterways. The work force is pretty diverse and it makes for an enjoyable day on site as well as challenging
