My days working with David Jones was busy, insightful and fun. I'm so Hppy to have had the chance to work with David Jones. I learnt how to use a camera, how to edit photos on a computer and time management under pressure. The hardest part of the job would have been the agitated and angry customers however I was able to explain to them and apologise for any inconvenience. The most enjoyable part of the job would be working with the team and talking to the customers.
You''ll be disappointed because the management team couldn't care less about you. I guess the coworkers were nice though. The work was super stressful and mostly unrewarding. I'd think twice before applying..
Initially there was a near NO IT culture in David Jones. But the project changed all that. Now they have a sophisticated mobile reporting mechanics, a neat EDW and processes to capture and assimilate data in EDW Overall a project which effected a 'cultural change' in David Jones.
Able to impart my skills and experiences - MDM, Data Cycle, Integration (Distributed databases) and of course bring in a consulative approach given my skills
