Great fun but so badly paid
Teaching Assistant (Current Employee) –  London26 August 2016
You get a call at 7 30 to tell you which school you go to. You go and work with the kids and help them and thats all great!

However come pay day the advertised £70 after tax and NI employees insurance AND NI employers insurance (despite the fact you are NOT self employed and DO NOT get any expenses because of this yet still pay your EMPLOYERS insurance) goes down to about £54 and that is a BIG difference.

St Edwards primary School
Teaching Assistant (Former Employee) –  Bank20 March 2013
Destination education are brilliant at providing day to day work.
One of them i have enjoyed the most would be at St Edwards primary school. The staff were lovely to work with, and supportive. The children were very well mannered, and behaved.
Overall, it was a good experience.
Pros
its good pay, and they pay for your expenses
Cons
they don't have many long term work.
