Boring and gross

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Never got taught to do other things was always doing the same thing even though I had asked for trading multiple times. The people there were great to work with but the work sucked the hours sucked and it’s not enjoyable doing the same thing every time being on my knees on the floor

Pros

Free food

Cons

Bad hours

Horrible and underpaid

For how much work you do, never get any breaks and if you call in sick the boss will decrease your hours I would never recommend dominos as a place of work

Productive and awesome work place

I have enjoyed my time at Dominos so far, I have learnt so many things working there and in less than 3 months I have learnt how to do everything there. Management is awesome, managers are great. Hardest part of the job is when its really busy and orders get mixed up. The most enjoyable part is that its hands on the whole shift and working with all the staff there.

poor management and toxic environment

They promise more hours than what they can actually give during the interview. The workplace environment is so toxic as well. As a delivery driver, you are at the bottom of the ladder and they ask you to take on more jobs than what is included in your job description.

Too busy

Working here can be fine but always get asked to work longer and they shift me a lot more then I can handle, as I am a highschool student. This makes it difficult to balance work and school but they won’t stop it

Pros

Free pizza soemtimes

Cons

Way too busy understaffed, not hiring more people when needed

Honest effort and hard work is required and often rewarded.

Mostly a great place, depends on what you want for a job or career. The department you work in plays a factor for your enjoyment while working here as well. The company will ask 24/7/365 coverage from most employees due to "Business Needs". Little to no work/life balance is currently available(Business Needs) Free meals happen often.

Pros

Great benefits, Okay Pay, Good co-workers, No lack of rewarding work to do, boot vouchers, supplied uniforms.

Cons

No work-life balance, Little room for growth after reaching certain roles, Mentorship only happens for certain positions and people, You work most Holidays.

Productive and face paced

Dominos is a faced paced company because they try and get the pizza to the customers as fast as possible. Dominos is a productive company because we all work together to get pizzas to the customers

Pros

Discounts

Cons

Short hours

Will make you a slave

Worst job I've ever worked..Filled with false promises to everyone that are never kept to make you work harder..Terrible management. Money hungry, self centered boss. Terrible pay. Miserable atmosphere. If I could rate a 0/10 I would..Don't ever work here at domino's j'ville or Khandallah even if you are completely desperate..

Pros

5% off pizzas (only while at work) anyone?

Cons

Everything.

very good environment at work, work pressure is depending on days.normally restaurant was busy on weekend and on other days just normal work pressure.my boss was very motivated person to all team members as well as all team members were very good in work

Pros

free meal on 8-10 hours shift

Cons

sometime long hours when busy

No communication, no training, looked down on by superiors

I dreaded going to every shift and couldn't wait to go home. I got barely any shifts, even when I asked for more hours. I received no on site training and was expected to know how to do everything right away. Mistakes are not taken lightly, it is taken as an indicator that you are a bad employee.

Pros

Easy to get the job

Cons

Unreliable hours, pay often late, disrespectful, bad job stability

Overall good

As per my view, I get all knowledge about making , delivery and safety and well behave with customer and staff. Very helpful and kind to the employee and customer. If talk about cleanliness than it also proper.

Horrible place to work for

Management treat staff horribly, poor pay with only $2 per delivery even when doing a 10 minute drive. Management needs to learn what boundaries are and what is legal and what is not. Hours are always uncertain, sometimes i get 23 hours and then next week I get 16. Not consistent at all. Would not recommend ever even applying for Dominos

Pros

Nothing

Cons

Everything

Productive busy and skillfull

A typical day at work is busy, lots to do. I learned customer service skills and teamwork. It helps with personal management. Hardest part is rush times (peak hours) and the most enjoyable part of the job is communicating with others and learning new skills

Productive and fun Work space

Dominos a great company and offers various opportunities. They build young and ready teams and it was pleasant. I was awarded and acknowledged by the Company and it made me feel like a part of a family. Pays very well. Learned a lot about how to make pizzas and fold boxes. I also deal with customers over the phone and in person. Very respectful place to work.

Shift Manager

Dominos was my first job, I was promoted to shift lead at 16. Management changed constantly and could be very unprofessional. When there was a good, reasonable GM the store ran better, but they changed so often. Employees were not trained correctly and we were oftwn often understaffed.

very fast passed

the amount of work we do for dominos and the pay is minimum wage its not quite right. It's quite a stressful job and when it's peek time there aren't other staff members.

fun and fast paced

It was a good place to work as the hours and the people were nice. the pay could have been better though the pace of the environment of which I worked in was rather fast it was good to have a challenge.

productive but ok

you have to have a strong head as costumers do come in and yell at you. you have to know that they aren't yelling at you if that makes sense. for me it wasn't the best experience and don't recommend it to other people
