Think about the employees and there feelings. The staff that shows improvement and that come in on time and on they off days,I feel that the management should pay close attention to those who put effect in to hard work.
They give the employees a 30minute lunch break
They give you a 15minute break
I feel DoubleTree Hilton is great place with thousand of things for employees and family and friends. I'm a engineer and I upkeep the building and you meet alot of people and guess are always happy on the most part and fixing something is great and a great feeling
Great work envoirment with hard workers.Always willing to help you if your running behind on your rooms. They will make sure you have a nice lunch which is paid for by them daily.Flexiable hours and room to move up in the department
A company that cares about its workers
There elevator is always broke
I do not recommend working for double tree by Hilton when it's associated with porters steakhouse in Collinsville. not a work environment that is positive, welcoming, or appreciative of hard work. incredibly stressful and absolutely NO accountability OR consequence for the daytime crew and their complete lack of preparation for the evening crew. A COMPLETE management overhaul of the staff, (except one individual) needs to occur as well as the COMPLETE remodeling/cleaning of the ENTIRE hotel is DESPERATELY needed.
Working there would be a good day if you have everything you need to clean your rooms if not it was very stressful because you couldnt complete a room and had to go back and forth to get the things you need and only had 30 mins. In each room the enjoyable part was wen we had house keeping week which was going fun things that whole week and great food.
Checking guests in and out of their rooms, taking reservations from callers and learning how to give the customers what they want without breaching argument. Workplace is very professional and the guests always come first. Customer service can be incredibly difficult if you do not say the right things at the right time. When satisfying a customer, they make it clear that you did a good job, that was my favorite part.
Good hours and experience in the field
Not much movement, a lot of standing in one place
I loved working here. A warm and happy staff that made me feel like I was apart of the family as soon as I walked in the door. The management was great, friendly and effective.
Free meals, treated like an adult, respectful, professional, friendly, teamwork
A Typical day at work for me is to make sure that all the rooms are inspected and ready for guest arrival. What I've learn to do is to be patient to my fellow coworkers and the hardest part about my job is having the housekeepers go back to rooms and re-do them and the most enjoyment part of my job is that I know that I done my very best and to clock out and go home to my family
to short of a lunch break and no 10 minutes breaks at all
Doubletree is a very fun and friendly environment to work, the staff and the costumer's are the best, let's now forget Porter's steakhouse it #1
A typical day at work is making sure the customer enjoy there day whether it's a meeting, wedding, staying at the hotel or eating atPorter's. I learned that a (smile) can really make a person day.Our management staff work along with the employees. I don't feel that any job is hard when you doing something you enjoy. The most enjoyable part of the job is meeting new people and watch them leave happy each time they visit. Watching our GM gettting out of her heels and working in laundry or even ours sales manager's. How each department work where ever needed that's how we do it doubletree by hilton in collinsville, Illinois.
having a hot and healthy lunch everyday.
