Alright
Sales Manager (Former Employee) - Las Vegas, NV - 27 September 2023
Bonus structure was made for us to never obtain. 50 hour mandatory work weeks even when slow. PTO wasn’t that good. Work life balance didn’t exist, couldn’t work remote either.

Has good employees with work ethic and productive.
Line Cook (Former Employee) - Seattle, WA - 27 September 2023
Every day is a welcoming environment and ppl role work with trust and respect. Supervisor will gladly help when employees and teach them how to work efficiently. Management needs slight improvements but will respect from others perspective. Everyone will help and work together with a great attitude. Not having enough staff to do the tasks on a busy day. The most enjoyable part if the job is the people. Employees are compassion, and caring for other colleagues.
Pros
Good working environment and welcoming
Cons
Compensation needs improvement and more beneficial for employees

Stay away from Embassy Suites LaVista!!!
General Laborer (Former Employee) - LaVista, NE - 23 September 2023
Most of upper management is lazy, doesn't care about you, and whines about all the work they have to do! No plan from management to fix any issue. No ongoing training or lack of any training. You learn on your own from trial and error. TERRIBLE benefits and pay! STAY AWAY!!
Pros
None
Cons
Terrible upper management

Good.
Associate (Current Employee) - Buffalo, NY - 20 September 2023
It’s fine. It pays the bills if nothing else. I’ve worked at better places and I worked at worst places. If you do your job, it’s an easy place to work at.

I would love to work in hospitality, I enjoyed the challenge of making sure everyone was happy with their stay with us
Front Office Manager (Former Employee) - Bellevue, WA - 17 September 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Being able to make sure everyone enjoyed they’re stay with us. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? When Covid hit they cut everyone’s pay that they hadn’t Layed off already What is the work environment and culture like at the company? I loved the people I worked with. I think due to Covid, the culture took a huge back seat with the management group that owned us What is a typical day like for you at the company? Mostly checking in/out guests, answering phone calls emails texts

Very boring
Sales Coordinator (Former Employee) - Tampa, FL - 17 September 2023
It is a super boring corporate job if that is your thing. The managers are like fossils and they do not encourage growth. It was a waste of my time. Why there was an elderly working the front desk? I have no idea.

I don't have any positive thoughts about this
Utility Worker/ Stewart (Former Employee) - Wayne, PA - 14 September 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? This trip was not a good idea for the simple fact that I was dropped by a supervisor that had personal issues with me and I was not treated fair at all. Management was not a bit involved with the disrespect from the chef's disrespect towards me j and the whole situation with my hours being given to someone who was a temp and was getting more hours than me who at the time was a full-time employee who was employed by the hotel. VERY DISAPPOINTED What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Employees who were not doing the job they should have done but always wanted to leave work for the next shift which was totally disrespectful and nothing was done by management What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Kitchen is not cleaned well and I told them that I was not going to be able to do someone else's job What is a typical day like for you at the company? Felt like I was waiting on eggshells and that is not how managers are supposed to treat the employees

Irritating but easy
Engineer/Groundskeeper (Current Employee) - Temecula, CA - 14 September 2023
Most days, stuff that’s broken from the company not wanting to spend money on is hard to deal with, leaving us to try and explain to guests that we can’t fix things because we don’t have the money or experience.

Get swamped often; have to multitask a lot
Front Desk Agent (Former Employee) - Atlanta, GA - 12 September 2023
We had trouble with staffing so a lot of times, there would be only one person at the front desk with long lines and telephones ringing and issues to solve. A lot of work would get thrown at very few people to handle it all.
Pros
Good managers and co-workers
Cons
Lot of short staffing

Land of the Misfit Toys
Sales Manager (Former Employee) - Little Rock, AR - 12 September 2023
Deplorable leadership team, the best of the worst. The hotel is filthy and covered with black mold. The culture is toxic. The hardest part of the job is going to work every day. The hotel’s reviews are truly representative of the internal and external customer experience. The corporate team is beyond reproach and woke.
Pros
Free Employee Lunch
Cons
Culture, Pay, Training, Leadership, Black Mold, Outdated Property

Underpaid, unappriciated,
Sales Coordinator (Former Employee) - St. Charles, MO - 12 September 2023
Very heavy workload, understaffed, turnover is high I think due to a lack of training, Pay is way too low for the amount of work that is expected and then to top it off the benefits are horrible. They cost a fortune so then your bringing home even less money. Other than that Loved the job

Company cares very little for employees at the end of the day.
Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent (Former Employee) - Tampa, FL - 11 September 2023
This company is the worst to work for. Do not ever have tragedies in your life, they simply do not care. There is no empathy, understanding or sympathy toward employees at the end of the day. The pay is substandard for what they make you do on the offset, and the additional duties stacked on, without a pay increase is ridiculous. The sphincter retentive management need sensitivity and need to attend their own diversity training to learn how to talk to people. The upper management make this place very toxic to work in, stay clear if you want peace of mind.
Pros
nothing
Cons
abusive management, lack of communication, nepotism, lack of intellectual responses to questions.

Good money most of the time
Bartender (Former Employee) - Alabama - 11 September 2023
You have the ability to make very good money but you better save some of that money for December through February. They offer benefits generally not available to those in the food industry.

Hilton should take away their flag.
Manager (Former Employee) - Schaumburg, IL - 9 September 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Stay as far away as you can. Ownership and managers don’t care about their employees. They only need hours filled. Also, go to Tripadvisor and read the reviews. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Not knowing if he will keep your job the next day. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Girl, always having to look over your shoulder to see if people are talking about you. What is a typical day like for you at the company? You count the hours and minutes until you’re off the clock.

If things could have been better I would certainly have stayed until retirement.
Front Desk Supervisor (Former Employee) - Hot Springs, AR - 7 September 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The guests are great! And the benefits were amazing!!! What is the most stressful part about working at the company? There was an extreme lack of competency and communication with upper management!

Horrible place to work
Sales Manager (Former Employee) - Oklahoma City, OK - 5 September 2023
If you work for the sales office. It’s awful. They won’t train you, and the women you work with are not very professional. The hardest part of the job is being the new person who is trying to fit in with women who have worked together for years.
Pros
Free lunch
Cons
No training

It was alright
Engineer (Former Employee) - Arcadia, CA - 5 September 2023
It was alright. Could have been better but you can only do so much with what they give you. Many issues with the rooms and management wasn’t much of use when needed.

Low pay hard work
Houseman (Former Employee) - Niagara Falls, ON - 3 September 2023
For a unionized place your over worked and under paid. Management was very demanding. Service elevator was sometimes used for guests, so it was near impossible to get to your floors.
