Fulton Hogan was a great place to work i liked working there a lot and learning about my task from my work mates, everyone i have meet through Fulton Hogan was very friendly and well coming, but the person who signed me up to the job was very bad at being a supportive and organised boss.
Fulton Hogan really looks after their employee. Safety is ALWAYS number one. The main reason anyone got into big trouble was when they were doing something unsafe. Safety meetings once a month and they always leave the room open to suggestions on how things could be made safer in the workplace.
OT after 8 hours. Meal allowances after 10. Ongoing training.
Wages weren’t great in Wellington.
Hard working strong on safety with clients as well as staff members Faced paced strong communication with staff in the progress of the job. High standards of safety for public as well staff at all times on the job site as well as travel away from home.
envoriment outback work
I would love to work there again, just because of how well structured the job is and how there is a strong team enviroment so your not alone. I love it how its a zero tollerance to harm and health and safety is key making sure every workmate goes home to family. Cheers guy keep up the good work

Vehicle check before leaving the yard Got the gear needed for the job Communication was the key to the job & working together as a team Management was mostly punctual & on time unless was called out to an emergency like an accident ect. Co workers were good but you have up's & down's now & then. Hardest part of the job was to think on your feet in a dire situation & explaining it through to your team so everybody knows exactly where to be & what their roll is. There's also heavy lifting involved, set up & break down of site's. Knowing the measurements of road length & signs. Safety of your team, clients & the public. Enjoyable part of the job is that your outside & at a different site everyday to change of scenery. Also when everyone knows what the plan is & what they are doing it's easy going.
Lunch breaks were given when needed & the crew were well to work with.
