Many a opportunity for personal development exist in a very multicultural environment. Personally the position I chose was not suited for me. Change management systems should be looked at.
Good support at all levels
Communiction through the various business stream could improve.
some managers were great. 1 was not and if you weren't in her group she wasn't pleasant. Big diversity in jobs from receiving eggs to sorting day old chicks. Some areas are very hot to work in but you shower onto site so you can cool yourself if need be.
Long shifts. Work with some hopeless people. But unapreciated for Your personal eforts. Night shift is better money but not work/ life balance. Management are rude
Half decent pay on night shift
Long hours. Work with idiot's. Rude supervisors
Went out to Inghams Tahmoor as a knifehand have 15 yrs expierience prior to going there..,because I was comfortable in the job and was able to fit straight into it comfortably, this was not well recieved well by a number of other workers on the line .....Arrive in town and nowhere to stay except hotels ....to other butchers/knifehands don’t be tricked by the money they re offering.,because all you gonna do is get there and have problems with the people that work there...
Work life balance, good supervisors
co workers will go out of their way to start trouble
I use to enjoy going into work, a few years back, management was really good, now with the new management it's been like every man for themselves. We don't get any perks for working overtime and doing long hours, we just keep getting smashed but no new labour added to the teams in each section.
Management not good
I will describe the work in Inghams as a good experience as you learn each day something new and in a typical day i start the communication skill with my staff to talk about what we did yesterday and what we will do today to get everything done and all the work is a corporation work between the staff .
Cheap staff sales
Help us improve!
Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
When you are working at Inghams, you feel secure given that some worker have been with the company for more than 25 years.
There is teamwork and friendly workers from all over the world who makes the work place interesting. The work place will interest you more if you are a social individual.
Overall work is really good and the environment is also awesome, but the corruptness with management is appalling, you have to be “somebody” for something to be done, in other words if your not a FAVOURITE you don’t matter. They pick and choose who they want to help and who to fight for, the manager fights for young pretty girls..
The Best Job i have ever worked in Great people on production lines Maintenance team all worked together great team..It was so sad when it closed its Plant at Hoxton Park and many people who worked lost ther jobs .Well thats progress the area zoned for Housing development.
This is quarantine poultry devision. Must not own any birds and must be willing to work hard and follow orders. Hours may vary and employees must be attentive and willing to work wen needed. A pleasing place of work.
It's amazing working at this Company because different kind of work you have to do and there are several types of production are running some days. I learnt so many new things, new skills. The management is really nice they work together with the employees. The culture is to respect one another doesn't matter where you coming from, the job is very easy I always look forward to go work that's the main thing because if no work no money to support my family.
Leading Hand requires patience and a lot of thinking, it can be difficult but also very self rewarding. The role is an ideal position who is trying to progress in their current company.
The ability to take on a role that requires leadership and time management skills to perform, and also improve on knowledge gained through senior more experienced employee.
Lack of managerial expertise, insufficient support, discipline not consistently enforced.
