Center Director/ Assistant Director (Former Employee) – Germantown, MD – 24 August 2019
The focus is not in the children, families, or staff. The focus is on making a profit for the company. The majority of your time as center management is competing with other center in your area and how to maximize profit off the families enrolled and cutting staff hours etc. There is no accountability for center directors when they are doing things that are unethical (which was reported by myself and numerous staff). Overall nothing about this company is about the education of children and well being of staff and the families that are served.
Director (Former Employee) – Harrisburg, PA – 22 September 2019
I worked for Kindercare for over a year and was trained for about two weeks. I was thrown into a broken center with AR’s that were not managed and employer moral that needed so much work! My DM made sure I knew I was not her favorite, and just who was. This company does not choose wisely when it comes to leadership. I have been a director for over 15 years, and have never dealt with so much unethical behavior
Site Director, Champions (Current Employee) – Dallas, TX – 22 September 2019
No room for growth. Low pay. Stroked on hours. Inconsiderate about traveling mileage for non effective meetings. They require you to go to meeting even outside of your city and then expect you to be back at your site on time. There are no perks. The salary does not equal the work at all. You’re expected to eh higtut there are no rewards. A
