The hours were quite flexible and my manager was very understanding of my situation. I highly recommend this job as an excellent part-time option for university students. A typical day at work would consist of preparation for customers coming in and the rush hours were quite hectic. As a grill master, I had to prepare all cutlery and pots for the rush hour and keep all stations clean.
Working here includes food prep, food making, customer service and cleaning. I learned how to make mexican fast food and customer service skills. Management was lovely. Workplace culture was good. The hardest part of the job was cleaning the toilets. The most enjoyable part of the job was the free food and making friends with colleagues and customers.
I acted as a "lunchador". (Former Employee) – Botany Downs, Auckland – 12 March 2017
Food prep, cleaning and serving customers. I learned a lot about customer service and food prep. The management was good. Culture was pretty cool as it's a Mexican themed place. Hardest part of the job was running out of ingredients. The most enjoyable part was serving regulars and made heaps of friends with colleagues.
