A typical work day could be bulk cooking to fine dining or being in charge of out catering functions. I have learned many skills during my time serving such as how to improvise at last minute to defence requirements at action or receiving stores in a foreign country. The culture is somewhat light hearted and everyone knows how to take and give a good bit of banter. The most enjoyable part is travelling the world and show casing NZ cuisine.
