In late 2013, Principal Mike Westbury decided that there was an opportunity to provide recruitment services in a more flexible, tailored manner. He launched 180 Resource Solutions, which in turn became one eighty recruitment during a recent re-brand. Starting by himself and operating out of a shared office, he built up the business through his networks – more...in the construction and property sectors. However Mike wanted the business to be more than just himself. In February 2015 one eighty moved into their own office space and six months later we have a busy office of four people!
Recognising that recruitment had become somewhat transactional, one eighty have tried to re-establish the relationship element of our business. We realised that to be successful our clients had to be 100% committed to the process. It was through this that we generated our ‘hand holding’ service – whereby we fully immerse ourselves into client’s business’ and in effect become an addition to their team.
By using a variety of traditional and non-traditional sourcing and attraction methods we are able to improve client’s employer branding, attract a greater quality of candidates and specifically target appropriate people. – less
