Home Support Worker (Former Employee) - Wellington
i find this field of work the most rewarding out of all the jobs ive had as it lets the elderly keep most of their independence.and i loved making them smile when i visited and they are always grateful.

Support Worker (Former Employee) - Timaru, NZ
Each day was different, my clients were lovely to deal with, I enjoyed being a support worker. I learned a great deal about people, and always ongoing learning with my duties. The hardest part of my job was learning of a client passing, the most enjoyable was the great conversations I had with my clients and having a good laugh with them. Putting a bit of happy into their day.
Pros
getting paid to do what I enjoy
Cons
not paid for mileage
