great place to work and learn new things

Really smart and encouraging people, I was there as an intern and everyone was welcoming and friendly, and they pushed me to learn so many new things. work life balance is not great, but as expected in any big 4 firm. best thing about it was the inclusive and friendly culture.

Okay

It was really hectic considering i was just an intern back then. Didn't really have much training and they expected me to know the task already. Learned a lot and got paid so overall okay experience. :)

Great coworkers but can be stressful

My internship was virtual so my experience is probably different. Everyone I met was so kind and wanted to make sure I never felt lost or alone. Assignments given to me were fairly easy, but sometimes they were so busy that they would be giving me assignments until late hours. The latest I had to work was 10 pm and I got paid overtime.

Pros

Nice coworkers, good experience, build relationship w clients

Cons

Long hours, stressful environment

Former intern

Worked there as an intern. I was not really busy due to virtual internship, but I have leant lots of new things. Being a global mobility service intern was nice but I really wanted to do something else to see what kind of tax I like the best

Pros

Lots of different kinds of gifts

Cons

lack of communication at times

Great Summer Internship

The internship was well organized, allowing me to work with different groups I was interested in. We were always encouraged to ask questions and learn more about what different teams did. It being summer, my workload was really quite relaxed and I was able to take time to learn different software. PwC did a great job pairing interns with buddies and managers, so we felt we always had someone to talk with. Everyone was always willing to help.

Pros

intern events throughout the summer, intern class becomes quite close

Cons

not the most stimulating work, few days when there was nothing for me to do because team was rushing to meet deadlines

Pros

Cons

Inclusive and Accomodating intern experience

Hiring in 2020 has been a nightmare for many companies. Going into a pending summer intern experience with PWC, they decided to cancel the in-person experience in exchange for an entirely virtual learning and digital upskilling experience for all interns while simultaneously offering job offers to all interns. This says a lot about the firm, investing in the candidates they had already vetted and brought in during a time of so much uncertainty.

Fun workplace with a great exposure of working on various live projects during the internship

Typical workday involved working with the merger and acquisition team to provide ground-level support on various live projects for a merger of one of the largest media powerhouse firms with a net worth of $513 million and 42 subsidiaries and performing quantitative analysis and database management of the client’s financial reports.

Intern in PwC

Good working culture that comes with flexibility. Fast placed company and competitive. Performance will be rated by your colleagues and team managers. Team is very friendly and supportive. Intern paid rate is around RM1000.

Productive and Fun Workspace

I was helping the team to finalize the excel sheets and PowerPoint slides as an intern. Therefore, my job wasn't so complicated and there was a good atmosphere in the office. However, full-time workers were working overtime all the time, which didn't seem to be very much appealing to me.
