getting onto good projects is all about who you know, and if the work you want to do isn’t selling, then you might feel as though your development is stalling. the business is 100% focused on the client and sometimes that takes away from focus on your career personally. overall wonderful place to build your career and grow as a well rounded, agile employee.

Very little regard for work-life balance. Grueling travel schedule. Highly driven and intelligent people. Fierce competition embedded in a feudal framework.
PwC was a great place to work. The culture was supportive to career growth and opportunities were provided for interesting and challenging projects. Professional development provided me with the tools to keep up to date in my field as well as providing useful tools to use in the projects I led.
Good place to start a career, however, the work life balance does not get better the higher up you are promoted. Additionally, promotions are more heavily based on timing rather than merit which can be frustrating.
PwC is a great place to work , the culture is good. Job is secure and compensation/ benfefits are good.

Although advertised as client-oriented, the culture was a bit inside-looking. Client services suffered as a result. Competitive culture, a bit political. Management seemed to be loosing sight of the company's vision and ultimate objectives. Hardest: At times it felt like having to fight the culture to provide best service to clients. Enjoyable: working with clients to provide their needed solutions.
Opportunity to serve clients and travel
Company appears to be inside-looking
PwC provided a good environment to grow and develop a wide range of skills. The most prominent skills were Project Management (ability to always keep a project moving) and ability to listen, break down arguments/facts, and influence decision making. It is a very fast paced environment where desire and ability to add value is recognized and reworded.
Typical Day - Lots of Meetings and loads of work that start in afternoon because you're in meetings most of the day Learned a lot from really smart people and able to work with senior client leadership Some good people at firm, overall most are personable Volume of work is out of control
