Working at TAB, nearly everyone except management is casual. A typical day requires you to be on course one hour before the start of a race so that you can organise yourself and start serving customers. The training at TAB is thorogh as they run you through manually working with large amount of money in all sorts of states (ripped, crumpled etc). The hardest part of the job is the customers. Since what management promotes is the party, everyone consumes far too much alchol and then they become increasingly aggressive as they lose money because their choice of investment did not come in or they did not understand the rules about ensuring that your tickets are correct(they cannot be changed after 2 minutes) is makes it very difficult for us to please everyone and give the next customer the service they expect. The most enjoyable part of the job is customers who are excited to win even the smallest dividend.

no two days the same, you can fun while working, management team are flexible with reason. workplace is fun and enjoyable at times hardest part of the job is not enough people to get the job requirements done.
