Planning is poor but everything runs smoothly. You tend to be in and out on the road well enough. Our site had new fleet coming in which is nice.
Down side is that you get day rate and they will load up the hours. If you go over your averages, it's down to you to bring them down by taking unpaid days off. Do the maths right and you end up working 8 months out of 12 for a minimum wage job.
You're just a number and everything is done by the book. Not part of a team, you're just a cog that only gets looked at if something goes wrong.
