Not very reliable hours

Visting Angel's is a good company, the clients are very friendly and nice. Although the hours are not reliable and you can't get the shift you desire. You also can not get over 20 hours with them or even that at times but they say you can have as many hours but that's not true unless you get whatever hours they throw out.

I get to visit with some nice clients and enjoy there company while visiting them

patients are great

I loved being able to talk with the patients and get to know them one on one, patience is all you need with some of them. when I was working with them I was also a full time student and they were very understanding and worked around my school schedule

Unappreciative

Staff and owners unappreciative for the caregivers. Lowest pay rate possible. Doesn’t matter longevity or not your pay rate stays the same. Lack of supporting factors

Pay too low unprofessional

This job is ideal for someone younger they don’t pay enough for what they charge these clients 35-40 an hour when you make only not even half . Pay is too low

I have found that they are willing to work with

I have been working with Visiting Angels for 5 months and I have been pleased with the company.No complaints.The scheduler does her best in seeing that I have enough work with the clients that I work with and if the client needs to change their time for doctor appointments etc then I am willing to accommodate my client and Visiting Angels works for the client as well as the Caregiver.I enjoy my work with the Visiting Angels

What is the best part of working at the company?I love working for visiting angels. Having the opportunity to work unlimited hours /overtime is wonderful. The hourly rate is a great start especially because once you have more than one client in a day your paid mileage which adds to your pay rate. The angel call pay rate is definitely another great option for us. The staff are wonderful they really fit us well with the perfect client based on the personality and needs of the client as well as the caregivers. I have all wonderful things to say about working for visiting angels. However, I know there is always room for better. That better would be that they found a way to add benefits example, vacation pay, accrued sick pay etc. They would be A1+. Again visiting angels you guys rock. Let's keep adding to the awesomeness!!What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Not having sick leave or vacation pay!What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The work environment feels very warm and inviting. You feel like you know each person personally. At least that's how I feel. When you call they greet you and get you right over to someone whom can help you. They fit you with clients that works with your restrictions if any. Personality match is fantastic. What is a typical day like for you at the company?A typical day for me is to check clients care plan. Travel to my clients home clock in. Greet my client ask how they're doing/ feeling. Check in with family to see if they have any recommendations for the day. Depends on the care plan make -

What is the best part of working at the company?Visiting Angels of Dallas is great. The recruiter there is amazing. Any time I need help with anything she makes sure to take care of asap. The company has alot of available cases in varies parts of Georgia. I do think pay for CNA's should be higher, especially if you have many years of experience.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Not being paid based on experience What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Work takes place in people's homes. In my experience, work environments gave been greatWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?The company sends you cases via text and/or email. You can call in to the number attached to hear more about each case and decide if you want to accept. Sometime more pay is offered if they REALLY need someone or if it's a last minute shift. Clock in/out is done by app and so are your completed ADL's. You also need to have GPS on for proof that you are actually at the clients home

Nice management but low pay

Management was great and flexible. However, pay stayed low throughout my time working there. You are definitely not compensated fairly for the work you do- unless they have drastically raised the pay.

Great Boss! I think the pay could and should be more but overall this is a great company to work for at this location.

I had a good time working for VA and I would go back in a heartbeat! Great boss to work for who has a heart for his clients and his staff, I appreciated that! Like I said the Pay should be more for those who deserve it and work for it. Hate you don’t get mile reimbursement.

There are many cultures that work there. However, I can only recall white men and women that I have caregive for.What is a typical day like for you at the company?You go to customers house. Greet and find notebook see the careplan to make sure there is nothing you have missed. If they need a bath or fed do that. Remind to take meds. Make their bed and lean area. If customer wants to talk visit.

Not bad!

Fine place to work. I'ts pretty straight forward caregiving. Your day to day will depend a lot based on the clients you are assigned. Scheduling is willing to work with you to make sure you get a client(s) that works for you.

Good for people who are looking to supplement income

Love working with the families that i do. Not hard work, most shifts are less than five hours. Management is good. Very kind and understanding.The hardest part of the job is getting close to the clients and them passing away.Most enjoyable part is building relationships with clients and family members. Plus being there to help support them so they don't have to go to a nursing facility.
