About us:
The Auckland Regional Forensic Psychiatry Service, or the Mason Clinic as it is often known, is the largest Forensic Mental Health Service in New Zealand. We serve the four Northern Districts Health Boards including all courts in the northern region and five prisons.
The Service delivers clinical pathways support recovery, enable tāngata whai i te ora and whānau involvement and are anchored in the recognition of principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (kawanatanga, ritenga, oritenga, and mana Motuhake).
About the role
This position is responsible for the provision of cleaning, orderly and meal serving at appropriate times in the Service. This means you would be meeting a variety of people as you would be interacting with both staff and service users. We are looking for an individual who fosters an environment where service users and staff feel supported and valued.
At times you may also be required to drive manual vehicles, so a current full drivers licence is essential. Previous health-related experience will be an advantage. We require a fit and energetic person, who must be available to work rotating shifts over seven days.
