Customer Support Specialist at Halter - Auckland
Typical job description
This role is focused on helping farmers use Halter’s livestock technology platform successfully. The work combines customer service, technical troubleshooting, and operations support.
Main responsibilities usually include:
Responding to customer issues via phone, email, and chat
Troubleshooting hardware/software problems with Halter collars and systems
Supporting farmers during onboarding and day-to-day use
Escalating technical issues to engineering/product teams
Documenting customer interactions and recurring problems
Working shifts or after-hours support during busy operational periods
Building strong customer relationships with rural/agriculture clients
Skills Requirement:
Strong communication and customer service
Problem-solving/troubleshooting ability
Calm under pressure
Interest in technology/agritech
Ability to learn quickly
Experience in support, SaaS, call centre, or technical support roles is helpful
